The Science Museum consulted with teachers and careers advisors and drew on research and reports to put together this concise list of ten ways to explore STEM careers in an out of school setting.
This blog is an ideal introductory point for either those developing a visit, or programme, and wanting to look at how it can embed STEM careers links effectively, or be used to review a current programme against. It not only highlights good career practice but also what is unique and special about out-of-school learning experiences and how to utilise them to their fullest.
As well as being a good introductory point it includes throughout links to further resources to support this work, for those wanting more information or examples of these tips in practice.
